PACKAGE DESIGN: TCHO

Incredible package design by Sussana Dulkinys  via lovelypackage.

Although I am sure this packaging sells chocolate on a whole new level, it would be far too perfect for me to even open. This is definitely something I'd have to preserve and protect.

I'd love to say something more intellectual, but I am simply limited to "wow."

NEW STORE ADDITION: PATH POSTER

My "Path" poster finally made it to the Plasticmonument store. They're printed on Cougar natural stock 50lb with an Ikon toner based printer.

I am incredibly happy with the results. I've been printing most of my posters with Jive (downtown Nashville) and couldn't be happier.

In terms of digital printing, it's hard to find someone that prints above a 12x18 size. The only other real option would be to go with offset which isn't conducive to small-runs. For the time being, I'll probably stray away from anything larger for cost purposes unless I am screen printing them. Considering the amount of color I generally use, I am having hard time simplifying things to screen printing terms; i.e., 2-4 colors.

There are a lot of overnight operations online that friends of mine swear by that offer larger format printing. When printing, I always go with quality and don't want to feel like I am hassling someone when I request proofs and such. Not sure what kind of personalization an online operation can offer?

Let the buying begin.

INSPIRATION: NICOLAS MALINOWSKY

I came across Paris based designer, Nicolas Malinowsky, today. Pretty interesting work. Kinda reminds me of Mark Weaver

INSPIRATION: SPACECOLLECTIVE.COM

I've been frequenting spacecollective for a while now and thought I would share some of the more influential images I've come across. I've always been intrigued by some of the more geometrical and repopulation aspects of conceptual sci-fi art. It reminds me of "He, She and It" by Marge Piercy.
